Dell D630 won’t power on with damaged USB port

Dell D630 damaged USB port and no longer powers on. Light comes on the off. Pins on USB port touching the ground. Straigthen out all pins but still won’t power on. Found burnt/spark mark in area circled in picture. Cleaned with toothbrush and finally it’s powering up without problem.

Dell Inspiron 1721 Won’t Post

When you run the built-in diagnostic with the FN key, Numlock and Caplock key flashes. Scroll Lock key stays on solid. This indicates the problem is with the onboard video card.

Dell’s Build-in Diagnostic Tools

To access the Dell build-in diagnostic tools press the F12 key when you see the Dell logo screen. On some newer models you can hold the Fn key then press the power button to turn on the system.
